■ Lake Shikotsu (Shikotsuko)
Walk 7 minutes from the hotel to Chitose Station, and ride Hokkaido Chuo Bus to Lake Shikotsu for 45 minutes.

■ Chitose Aquarium, Salmons’ Hometown
Walk 7 minutes from the hotel to Chitose Station, and 10 minutes along Route 337 to Chitose Aquarium, Salmons’ Hometown.
This aquarium has one of the largest freshwater aquarium tanks in Japan. You can observe various freshwater organisms around the world, mainly those in salmon family and other freshwater fish in Hokkaido.
■ Asahi Beer Community Hall
Walk 5 minutes from the hotel along Route 337 to Asahi Beer Community Hall.

It is 10 minutes drive from New Chitose Airport, and 2 minutes to Chitose IC of the Expressway. Perfect for traveling to various areas in Hokkaido.
The store has a huge aquarium tank inside, loaded with living crabs and shellfish such as scallops (hotate), whelk (tsubu), surf clam (hokkigai), and oysters (kaki). You can choose and get them cooked on the spot to try.
■ Northern Horse Park
Walk 7 minutes from the hotel to Chitose Station of JR Chitose Line, ride the train for 15 minutes to New Chitose Airport, and the free shuttle bus will take you to Northern Horse Park in 15 minutes.
Northern Horse Park is a theme park which focuses on horses. People from children to adults can enjoy its attractions such as Japan’s first pony show, horseback riding experience, and the tour to see retired race horses.
■ Chitose Outlet Mall Rera
Walk 7 minutes from the hotel to Chitose Station of JR Chitose Line, ride the train for 15 minutes to New Chitose Airport, and the free shuttle bus will take you to Outlet Mall Rera in 10 minutes.
Many shops have opened their first store in Japan at this mall. This is a popular shopping mall where you can enjoy not only fashion goods but also a variety of brands in sports, outdoor equipment and interior goods, 365 days a year at outlet price. There are a dog park for dogs to run around freely, and a kids park for children to play. It is prepared to let everyone in a family have fun.
Walk 7 minutes from the hotel to JR Chitose Station, and ride the limited express train for 60 minutes to Noboribetsu.
Noboribetsu is a town located in the southwestern part of Hokkaido. The nearest airport is New Chitose Airport, from where you can reach the town by car in 1 hour 15 minutes. The name “Noboribetsu” is said to be derived from a term in Ainu language “nupur-pet,” indicating its deep relationship with Ainu. It is also known as a town of hot spring tours due to its many famous hot spring resorts including Karurusu Onsen which has been selected for Meito Hyakusen (100 Selected Hot Springs) and Noboribetsu Onsen which has been selected as Nihon Hyakkei (100 Landscape of Japan) and Shin Nihon Ryokouchi 100 Sen (100 New Japan Travel Location). Apart from the hot springs, there are more places to visit scattered around the area, such as nature-rich parks and bear pastures, marine parks and Jidaimura (the theme park with focus on history), and other sightseeing spots where you can feel Ainu culture.
It is 40 minutes from the hotel to Sapporo Station by train on JR Chitose Line. Sapporo is full of tourist spots including Sapporo Clock Tower and the statue of Dr. Clark which are representative tourist spots in Hokkaido, other tourist spots where you can sense the history of Hokkaido, and many places to enjoy art as Sapporo is also a city of creation.
